The game may contain a lot of DLC.
Diablo 4 was announced at this year’s Blizzcon and although it will not take long (and we mean it for a long time), we still get a fundamental idea of how the game will look. And now we have an idea of how the DLC and post-launch plans of the game will look, and it’s certainly a double-edged sword for some people.
Talking with Twitch User Quin69, Joe Shely, Lead Designer by diablo 4, confirmed that the game will have extensions. This will certainly inspire people, but it is not unexpected, since all the diablo games have enhancements. He also mentioned that they could get cosmetics, and when he squeezed, if that meant they could get them about microtransaktions, he said yes. Shely was very careful with his formulation and said it was early. But also cosmetics as a microtransaction is not too unexpected in today’s industry. At least the auction house does not come back for the time being.
DIABLO 4 was announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game aims about cross-play support. If you are curious how the game has changed during development, read on here.
